Wuthering Heights

'If all else perished and he remained, I should still continue to be...'

Heathcliff and Cathy have long been a reference I have failed to relate to, so today, instead of revising for my exam on thurz, I have mainly been reading Wuthering Heights & slurping my way through 4 callipos. Because I.... am... in... the... slow... rea... ders... group, it will probably take me ages to finish, but now that I've finished Atonement again (I didn't cry at the end this time round, think I'm a bit numbed by the overwhelming awfulness of it all) I decided a bit of Brontë might serve as a nice pick-me-up.

That was a good day.

The temperature here is still in the mid-forties, making movement, though not impossible, not exactly ideal either. Tried to haggle with the cute Chinese lady in the shop on the corner over a massive fan, but it would appear she is surprisingly tough for a woman of such dainty stature.
